ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER | EUROPE (EU)

MAW S.p.A. Divisione Search & Selection, Polo di Trieste <p>On behalf of a prestigious client operating in the Metalworking/Manufacturing sector, we are seeking an <strong>Assistant Branch Manager</strong> who will report directly to the <strong>Senior Branch Manager</strong>.</p><p>The role aims to support daily operations and the strategic growth of the branch network, with increasing levels of autonomy and independence. </p><p></p><p>Key activities &amp; Responsabilities:</p><ul><li><p>Work closely with the Senior Branch Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure service excellence;</p></li><li><p>Support people management activities, including performance evaluation and team development;</p></li><li><p>Analyze branch performance metrics and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes;</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements;</p></li><li><p>Promote a collaborative, high-performance team culture;</p></li><li><p>Identify and implement process improvements;</p></li><li><p>Share operational insights, performance data, and strategic feedback with HQ;</p></li><li><p>Represent the branch in meetings, audits, and community initiatives;</p></li><li><p>Interact professionally with customers, local authorities, and tax agencies to ensure smooth operations and compliance;</p></li><li><p>Prepare for future independent branch leadership through hands-on experience and training.</p></li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li><p>Degree in Economics, Engineering, or related fields;</p></li><li><p>2–5 years of experience in operations, management, or a similar role (e.g. Site Manager);</p></li><li><p>Strong availability for long-term assignments and frequent travel (within Europe); </p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of english.</p></li></ul><p>Preferred requirements:</p><ul><li><p>Work experience abroad or in international environments;</p></li><li><p>Experience in multi-site or branch operations;</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with performance metrics and reporting tools;</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.</p></li></ul><p><em>Soft skills</em>: the ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a proven capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
